JENPAS UG

The JENPAS UG exam dates are released by the official exam conducting body, i.e. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. As per the recent update, the JENPAS UG exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2025, but it was not held this year. A revised date is expected to be released soon.  

To prepare for the Basic English subject of JENPAS UG entrance exam, candidates are advised to revise topics such as Articles, Error correction, comprehension, Parts of speech, Cloze Test, Tenses, Synonyms and Antonyms, Joining Sentences, Direct and Indirect Speech, Error Spotting, Idioms and Phrases, and Sentence Improvement and Correction among other topics.

The important topics from the Biology subject which are relevant from the entrance exam perspective are: Ecology, Environmental Pollution, Pteridophyte, Plant Succession, Plant growth and growth hormones, Plant Physiology, Viruses, Embryology of angiosperms, Plant Diseases, Bryophytes, Biochemistry, Bacteria, Morphology of Angiosperm, Anatomy, Gymnosperm, Algae, and Fungi.

In the Chemistry subject, candidates can prepare the following key topics to appear for the JENPAS UG exam: Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Processes of Isolation of Elements, Electrochemistry, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Amines, Periodicity, Chemical Kinetics, Molecular Structure, Solid State, General Chemistry, Solutions Surface Chemistry, States of Matter, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements, Redox Reactions, Chemical Bonding, Environmental Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Biomolecules, Carboxylic Acids, General Organic Chemistry, Haloalkanes, Phenols

To prepare for the physics subject, candidates must revise important topics such as Molecular Physics, Electromagnetic Theory, Atomic, Statistical Mechanics, Experimental Physics, Electronics, Classical Mechanics, Mathematical Methods, Thermodynamics, Relativity Nuclear and Particle Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Quantum Theory and its Applications among other topics.

WBJEEB will open the application correction window for two days after the JENPAS UG application process concludes. Any request for any JENPAS UG 2025 correction will not be entertained by WBJEEB under any circumstances beyond the correction period.

Yes, a Medical Fitness Certificate is mandatory requirement for admission to the undergraduate courses. It would be required at the time of counselling for granting admission to the targeted institute.

Yes, both male and female candidates can apply and appear for the JENPAS UG exam. However, male candidates will not be eligible for admission in BSc nursing course in government colleges of West Bengal. They can only apply to the private colleges to pursue BSc nursing course.

Candidates attaining minimum 17 years of age and maximum 35 years of age are eligible to apply for the JENPAS UG exam. The applicant must be 17 years of age as on 31.12.2025. The applicant should have been born on or before 31.12.2008. The upper age limit for the BVSO programme is 40 years.

Yes, candidates domiciled in West Bengal are only eligible to apply for the JENPAS UG entrance exam. An Indian citizen who is a domicile of WB can apply for the exam. The JENPAS UG exam is conducted for admission to the UG level nursing and paramedical courses. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the OMR based Common Entrance Test.
