RIMS Ranchi has not released the placement percentage. According to NIRF report 2026, 36 UG 5 year students were placed out of total 140 graduated students of batch 2024 with median package of INR 9.5 LPA.

Students who want a seat at IIT Ranchi would need to attain the course, round and category-wise cutoff. The IIT Ranchi cutoff 2026 was published for round 1 for different All India categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 36511 to 41700. Hence, students need to attain a rank of at least 41700 or below to gain admission to this institution. Candidates can see the table below to know the maximum rank accepted in the first round by various AI categories.
