The entrance exam of Ph.D will be held between 17 to 21st June.

For Ph.D, you need to clear UGC NET. As soon as you clear it, you will be deemed eligible to do Ph.D.

If you have scored 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in your BE and you have also cleared any one of the exams amongst GATE / UGC NET / CSIR / DST inspire fellowship then you can definitely go for PhD.

For admission in Ph.D CSE you need to have passed ME/M.Tech( Computer Science Engineering) with 55% marks.

Ph.D in Architecture is not offered in Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University. You can go for Ph.D in Architecture after M.Arch.

It is indeed great to know your desire to pursue PhD. It's great. Normally speaking, one can pursue Ph.D without attending any college. Hence, I feel it is perfectly possible to do what you are thinking. Firstly, you will have to clear entrance exam for admission. Then search and get accepted by guide. Then select research topic with guidance from your guide. Register yourself with university for this subject and guide. Then, you are on your own.

Yes, you have to clear GATE for PhD.

It's nice to know that you are interested in doing PhD. Almost all universities conduct entrance exam to weed out no serious students. Once you clear this entrance test, you need to look out for a guide in your subject. After this, with advise of guide, select your research topic, register by paying fees and you are on your way.
