Masters of Education (M.Ed.) is a comprehensive and intensive programme which aims at preparing Teacher Educators and Educational Researchers. The duration of the programme is 2 years. During these two years students are engaged in theoretical courses related to the discipline of Teacher Education & Internship as well as they pursue research which is mandatory component.

Fees in KJ for M.Ed is INR1.75 Lakhs (1st Year Fees) and for HK College of Education is 1.3 Lakh . However it may vary in fees but the education, placement, and all the things are equally good in both. So choose the college you want to.

Placements are offered in good companies across Mumbai city and suburban Mumbai and Thane. Schools like DSB School, Shishuvan School at Matunga, Somaiya School, Poddar School and other good schools visit our college for placements. Infrastructure: The library is good here.

Entrance exam scores accepted at K J Somaiya College of Education are PERA CET- M.Ed 2023/ MAH – M.Ed CET 2023 or any other state CET M.Ed 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Ed Program- 

Completed B.Ed. /B.A.-B.Ed., /B.Sc.-B.Ed./B.El.Ed. from NCTE Approved College of Education (50% marks minimum)

Should clear PERA CET- M.Ed 2023/ MAH – M.Ed CET 2023 or any other state CET M.Ed 2023.

The minimum marks required for M.Ed at K J Somaiya College of Education is 50%.

B.Ed./D.T.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree with 50% marks in Each Course (Minimum 45% Marks in case of Backward Class Categories from the State of Maharashtra only).

No, it is quite impossible as the cut off goes high. The overall cutoff for MHT-CET is 94.52 - 98.23 percentile.
