You can wait for final rounds, where internal transfers happen and you can surely get IT as vacancy always opens up in the last round of admission.

The hostel accommodation is pretty good. We have all facilities like hot water,water purifier,water cooler, student activity room, common area night mess etc.
Hostel fee for all candidates
Accommodation Fee (10 months) Rs 1,03,400/- ,
Hostel Deposit (Refundable) Rs 12,000/- ,
Mess Fee (10 months @ Rs 4,000 p.m)* Rs 40,000/- ,
Mess Deposit (Refundable) Rs 3000/- ,
Hostel Registration Fee Rs 1000/-
So total is Rs 1,59,400/-

Hostel stay is compulsory for the people from other state. The actual advantage of hostel is that you stay connected to you fellow mates.
PGDM (IB) deals more on the aspect of international business rather than PGDM that deals in a little general aspects.

The cutoff percentile for diff exams is different every year and changes every time according to the exam. There is no fixed cutoff. Last year cutoff for CAT- 86 percentile , XAT - 78percentile and CMAT - 96 percentile.

Yes the college does have a basketball court. Yes by doing MBA you would gain knowledge about the current business trends and would be able to guess the upcoming market requirements
