KS Hegde Medical College is a constituent college of the Nitte (Deemed to be University), and the college follows the admission process according to the university. There is no provision mentioned on the official website of the university that guarantees direct admissions to BSc courses. Hence, candidates are required to follow the complete application process of the course, which that states candidates must complete their Class 12 from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with a minimum aggregate of 40-50%. Further, the admission process is merit-based.
