Kalol Institute and Research Center offers various courses in the fields of Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Science, and Computer Science. Admission to the BTech, BAMS/ MBBS/ BHMS, BPharma, MD, MPharma, and MTech courses at the college can be considered difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main, NEET, GUJCET, AIAPGET, GPAT, and GATE exams, respectively. Kalol institute and Research Centre (KIRC) is now open for admissions to B.Tech. Those who have successfully passed with JEE Main or GUJCET marks can get admission, but they should have the 10+2 (PCM). To determine the admission, prospective students have to submit the registration with Gujarat ACPC/JoSAA through their entrance exam score, document verification and also through the seat allotment procedure.

In several reviews, hostel mess food in Kalol institute is rated as good. Hostel mess maintains hygiene, good taste, and massive mess room. But the menu is not found to shift regularly and thus variety may be scant, though it is healthy and reliable.

Indeed, KITRC possesses a Training & Placement Cell. Some reviews show a possibility of low campus hiring, whereas others have the placement rates to be as high as 88 percent in a stream as Civil. The hostel fees is INR 32,500 (shared) and covers around one year with additional basic facilities. Prices in the mess are different; there are batches where fixed menu is given daily and special meals once a week. Overall, the quality is decent, but some reviews show low variety and need to improve.

Kalol Institute and research centre is mainly good for the civil engineering aspirant first day offer a strong placement rate for them. It also offers a very good infrastructure and green campus with well equiped labs and classrooms. Other than civil engineering the placement rate is usually low with very less package
