One has to fulfil some eligibility criteria to get into the respective courses in this institute.
Generally, clearing entrance exams like JEE MAINS, CAT, GATE, MAT, TS EAMCET etc. national/state level examinations is the criteria to get into the college. Otherwise, management quota students can avail direct admission with 10+2 passing criteria in many of the cases.

The Kamala institute of technology and Science provides various scholarship based on Merit, category (OBC/SC/ST), etc.
However 100% scholarship is something that's providing to every student is unlikely.Mahadbt Rajarshi shahu maharaj can be avail by anyone irrespective of their caste or gender.Women can get 100% scholarship as per new rules, And OBC/SC/ST can avail 100% scholarship on their tuition fees, But the other application fees and other fees is the fees they have to pay.

The campus is spread across an extensive, green, mango grove of 26.25 acres. It represents a conducive, healthy learning environment for the pursuit of technical education. It has ICT- enabled classrooms, seminar halls, Laboratories, drawing halls, a library and much more with well-developed infrastructure inside out. Good quality mess food, Separate boys and girls hostel are also present. Gym, different sports courts like cricket, tennis, football etc. are available. Dispensary, Ambulance service is also available on the campus.

As per Telangana state council of higher education (TSCHE) guidelines, TS EAMCET is a mandatory examination to get into B.E/B Tech in the Kamala Institute of Technology and Science. However, one can get into the college without TS EAMCET by Management quota that comes under college management directly. The eligibility for the same will be 10+2 passing and giving JEE Mains or any national level examination like CAT, GATE or any other.

For UG/PG courses admission, one have to crack the required cutoff in entrance exams like JEE mains, CAT, GATE, TS ICET, MAT, etc.One can apply online for admission application through the official website of the college.Seat are allocated based on merit.
Eligibilty criteria for courses are as follows:
B.Tech (4 years):
-10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (40% for reserved categories).
- Qualifying scores in entrance exams like TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main.
-Candidates must be Indian nationals.
