The educational curriculum at KITS does not currently include a B.Sc. in Agriculture programme. The college offers only Engineering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various specializations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Digital Systems and Computer Electronics, etc.

The faculty at KITS are said to be highly qualified and knowledgeable. which contributes to a positive academic environment. The college has good infrastructure. Kamala Institute of Technology and Science has one of the experienced faculty with qualifications from reputed universities.

The faculty to students ratio is lie between 1:15 to 1:20 allowing for personalised attention.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Kamala Institute of Technology and Science, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TS EAMCET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.
