The registration window for the round-1 Karnataka NEET UG counselling will open from the first week of July 2025 tentatively. The provisional seat allotment result will be released thereafter as per the schedule. KEA will issue a counselling dates and prospectus informing the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2025-26 soon.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be held online for admission to various MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Unani, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda courses across government and private medical colleges across Karnataka. KEA conducts Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. At present there are total of 43451 seats. Under the MBBS programme, there are 33829 seats and 9622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Karnataka NEET UG counselling application fee for NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign nationals is INR 5500/-, for General/2A/2B/3A/3B it is INR 2500/-, and for SC/ST/Cat-I/PWD is INR 500/-. The KEA NEET UG registration fee can be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidates can also pay the fee offline by downloading the bank challan.

Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore will conduct counselling for Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission in online mode. Candidates have to register and fill application form on the official website. KEA will conduct Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling for 85% state quota and 100% of private college seats. The Karnataka NEET UG counselling for MBBS admissions will be conducted in four stages, namely registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting.

KEA releases the seat allotment list after candidates have exercised choice filling and option locking. A list of the candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling will be published on the official website dedicated to KEA counselling. The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by him/her.

Yes. Candidates who wish to participate in Karnataka NEET counselling will have to register on the KEA website. In addition, it is also mandatory to apply for the UGCET 2025 to participate in the KEA NEET UG counselling process. Those who wish to participate in the AIQ NEET counselling will have to register on the official website of MCC. Online information provided by candidates in the application form for Karnataka NEET counselling 2025 will be treated as correct, and requests for any change will not be entertained by KEA.

Till the previous year, a score of around 400-600 marks in NEET exam was good to get SC category seat in government medical colleges in Karnataka. The KEA NEET cutoff for all categories vary depending upon the difficulty level of the exam and no. of aspirants who apply for the NEET exam each year. The cutoff for the next academic year will be updated soon.

Karnataka NEET counselling has a provision for the reserved category students. They are required to pay INR 500 as a counselling fee during the registration process. This application fee less than the fee paid by the General category candidates.
