Applicants must meet the eligibility and selection requirements in order to be considered for admission to the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research. Course-specific selection criteria apply. It is the candidates' merit in the most recent qualifying exam that counts toward a BSc, MSc, BBA, etc. Entrance exams are accepted for MD, MBBS, BDS, and other courses. Hence, JSS Mysore does not offer direct admission.

- Candidates who belong to the Karnataka domicile and who want to take admission in the BE programme at NMIT, are required to appear for the CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka. NMIT Bangalore BE admission can also be made through COMED-K and candidates from both the Karnataka and Non-Karnataka states can apply through this entrance examination.
- NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is made based on Karnataka PGCET rank. However, candidates who want to take admitted through the Management Quota can also appear for the GATE exam.

School of Science Studies CMR University is one among the best in Bangalore offering various undergraduate and post graduate programs. But I would not considered it to be the best or the only choice. As there are various other esteemed Universities in Bangalore such as

Yes, NMIT Bangalore is the safe palce for the students. It is well-equipped with all the safety measures to offer safe environemnt for the students at the campus. The institute hostel has staff and wardens are available 24/7 for assistance. Regular housekeeping and laundry services ensure cleanliness and hygiene. It has proper security sytem which keep an eye round the clock with security camera's in the campus and hostel.
