NMIT has the seats reserved in its M.Tech programme for candidates who take admission to the programme through different entrance exams and quotas. Additionally, AICTE has also approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/ PIO/ NRI students whose parents work in the Gulf countries. The institute additionally has 5% of supernumerary quota seats for meritorious economically weaker students. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore, has a strong placement record, but identifying the exact branch with the highest number of placements is challenging due to limited publicly available data. However, the placements in B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering are comparatively better, Because the demand for IT is increasing in the market.
