A number of universities in South India accept CUET scores for admission, as of 2025. In Hyderabad, some of the institutions that participate in CUET include the University of Hyderabad, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and The English and Foreign Languages University. Kerala is represented by the Central University of Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh has the Central University of Andhra Pradesh and the Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh. Having a NEET rank of 1,53,461, your possibilities to obtain a medical seat in Karnataka will depend upon category, state quota, and institution type (government, private, or deemed universities). Government MBBS seats can be challenging unless you are from a reserved category with lower cutoffs.

With 596 marks in NEET 2024 and being a Karnataka candidate, you stand a good chance of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college under state quota counseling (KEA). In past years, government colleges in Karnataka used to have cutoffs between 560–580 marks for the General category.

With a rank of 1,95,828 in KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), it would be difficult to get a seat in the best engineering colleges of Bangalore, since their cutoffs are generally much lower than this rank, particularly in popular streams like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering.

For its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program, KIM accepts scores from entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and Karnataka PGCET. Yes, you can join Kirloskar Institute of Management (KIM), Harihar for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) without CAT. KIM accepts multiple entrance exams, including XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and Karnataka PGCET. If you haven't taken CAT, you can apply with any of these scores. Admission also depends on academic performance, work experience, group discussion, and personal interview.
