The KEAM exam is generally considered to be of moderate difficulty, making it easier than JEE Main. Chemistry is easy, Physics and Mathematics are moderate to tough.

To complete the KEAM 2026 syllabus, prioritise the NCERT (Class 11 and 12) for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Create a daily study plan, use concise notes, and practice with previous year question papers & mock tests.

- Calculus, Vectors, and 3D Geometry in Mathematics

No. Not completely. Candidates should follow the syllabus provided by CEE to prepare for KEAM and cover all syllabus in the KEAM syllabus to ace the exam.

The Kerala University KEAM BTech Cutoff 2025 was released for all categories and rounds for the students belonging to the Home State quota. For the OBC category, the closing cutoff in the last round ranged from 5467 to 67016, wherein Trinity Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering had the most competitive cutoff for admission to the BTech CSE course. On the other hand, the college which was the easiest for admission with the last round closing rank being 67016 was Trinity College of Engineering for B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering course.

The Kerala University KEAM Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various UG and PG courses on the basis of KEAM entrance examination. According to the cutoff in 2025, the closing cutoff in the first and last round for the BTech CSE ranged from 4721 to 5467 for admission to Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering for the students belonging to the General HS category. CUSAT BTech cutoff 2026 for the OBC HS category ranged from 10879 to 58462 as per the first round. Considering this range, BTech in in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission. This course had the round 1 cutoff of 10879.
On the other hand, BTech in Robotics and Automation Engineering was considered the least competitive course for admission. This course had the round 1 cutoff of 58462. Students can check the table below to know the round 1 closing ranks for all other courses.

The CUSAT KEAM 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme for various categories under the Home State quota. According to the CUSAT BTech Cutoff 2025, the last round closing cutoff ranged from 10038 to 66316 for the General HS quota. Among all the specialisation, the top two most sough-after specialisations were BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
