Yes, admission into CET Trivandrum BTech courses can be obtained without taking the JEE Main exam. For admission to its BTech programme, the college accepts only the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam. Students seeking admission must take the exam and participate in the subsequent counselling process. Moreover, the students must also fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the college.

CET Trivandrum only accepts KEAM for admission to its BTech courses. Once students have taken the exam, they are required to take part in KEAM counselling. In this counselling, students are allocated a BTech seat based on scores obtained by them in the aforementioned exam. The college may conduct a spot round if seats are left vacant after all rounds of counselling.
