For a JEE Paper 2 rank of 250, the estimated percentile is around 99.97-99.98. This is based on Paper 1 data, so actual percentile may vary.

If 48870 is your OBC NCL ranks then it is hard to get any sourse in NIT Trichy or calicut. If 48870 is your AIR rank, still you will not get any branch in above college. You should try somewhere else.

NIT Calicut is one of the best colleges in Kerala that offers MCA that comes under the government. The college is a premier institute, and the course is also strong. The other very good choices in government are College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET), Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and Government Engineering College, Thrissur (GEC Thrissur). These are reputed colleges with high level of academic standards and competition of admission, usually through NIMCET or entering through the state based tests.
