The candidate needs to appear for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) exam who have not given NATA exam. You can go for the admission process. Admission is based on the score obtained in NATA.

You may also pursue research during B.Tech under different professors who are generally willing and guide you very well. KIIT University takes the exam in which college checks the potential of students and they understand where students stand in the race. So if you scored good then they call you for counseling and they have minimum eligibility percentage below which they do not take admission.

I also got a seat in KIIT University after I participated in the counselling with a rank of 28233. I know it's not a good rank though but I got "Electronics and control system Engineering".
