You can apply for B.Arch at KIIT even if you haven't attempted KIITEE.
The candidate needs to appear for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) exam who have not given NATA exam. You can go for the admission process. Admission is based on the score obtained in NATA.

If the college has said that seats are remaining then keep contacting with college and if your KIITEE rank is less than the closing rank of that branch then you get the seat in that particular branch.

You need to have 60% marks in 12th with maths as a subject and also your NATA score will decide if you get a seat there. You fulfil the conditions so now, let your score decide if you get the college. Go for the counselling.

Kalinga University is a good palce for civil engineering. You have lots of opportunities to learn. You can also see real artistic designs there like temples. You can also learn to design them.

It depends on the parameters you want to judge the college.
If you want to learn, you may by some of the best teachers in their respective domains. You may also pursue research during B.Tech under different professors who are generally willing and guide you very well. The opportunity offered is not based on your marks, unlike many universities, but on your interest. One of the 6 pointer boy got a chance to present a poster at Mecca of Science in India I.e. Hello Luke,
KIIT University takes the exam in which college checks the potential of students and they understand where students stand in the race. So if you scored good then they call you for counseling and they have minimum eligibility percentage below which they do not take admission.

Somehow, it is true. My relatives who got very poor percentages in class 12th (56%-58%), got a very good placement and one of them whom I know is doing a job in a good company (don't know the company names and all that stuff). Every time I hear positive words from my parents in regards to KIIT.
I also got a seat in KIIT University after I participated in the counselling with a rank of 28233. I know it's not a good rank though but I got "Electronics and control system Engineering".
