Taking one extra year generally does no good. If you have any chance in KIIT, then go for it. Never try to look back. If you wait one extra year to pursue JEE, you will be bored and most probably start hating studies. Just go ahead but be amongst the best.
All the best.

Your authenticity and the authenticity of your marksheets, certificates and other credentials will be verified. You will be offered stream as per availability and if u take admission, u need to pay some amount of seat booking fee. Go through the counselling notification carefully or have a talk to competent executive before going to attend. All the best.

25,626 isn't a very good rank but if they have called you for counseling you are expected to get Civil engineering.

Gentleman, there is no short cut to gain success. u better concentrate in the basics of pcm to get your base strong. analyse your strengths and weakness. make your strengths more powerful and try to repair your weakness. leave the topics which you are very much unsure about. u must go through the previous year papers and solve them heartily to understand the pattern of a certain exam. best of luck. thank you.
