Yes, KK University follows the seat reservation guidelines of the state government of Bihar. The university reserves seats for various categories as per the Bihar Reservation Act, 2003. Some of the key highlights of the KK University's seat reservation policy are as follows:
- 50% of the total seats are for the open merit category
- 50% of the total seats are reserved for candidates from SC/ ST/ EBC/ BC/ Women of BC category
- 10% of the seats (supernumerary) are reserved for candidates belonging to the EWS category
