KLE Technological University shortlists candidates for admission based on their merit or entrance exam scores.The university considers the merit of the aspirants in the qualifying exam for BBA, BCom and BCA. The university accepts entrance exams such as JEE Main, KCET, Karnataka PGCET, etc. for admission to specific UG and PG courses. Aspirants can also get admission under the Management Quota provided they fulfil the selection requirements.

Once prospective students have filled out the KLE Technological University application form, the university closed the application window. After which, the admissions committee of the university begins with the seat allocation process for MCA.

For the allocation of MCA seats, the university conducts a counselling process. In this process, eligible students are offered MCA admissions based on the marks obtained in the accepted entrance exams.

KLE Technological University offers more than 20 courses at UG and PG levels. The university offers BE, BBA, BCA, BCom (Hons) and BSc at the UG level and MTech, MBA and MCA at the PG level. The minimum qualification to apply for UG course is Class 12 whereas, graduation is required to apply for any of the PG programmes.

The minimum eligibility to apply for a course at KLE Technological University BTech is Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science as the main subjects with at least 45% aggregate. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can get admission in BTech programmes provided they also fulfil the selection requirements.

KLE Technological University offers seats to candidates in the MBA programme based on their scores in Karnataka PGCET. Aspirants applying for admission under the Management Quota must pass CMAT, CAT, KMAT, or PGCET for admission to the MBA course. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements. There are a total of 60 seats in the MBA programme of KLE.

KLE Technological University applications are currently open. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can apply for the preferred UG or PG programmes.
