"PITM Kolkata is pretty good regarding placements although it is somewhat inferior to Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM) in placement consistency.

Clubbing the above facts together, PITM offers average placement of around 60%-70% while companies such as TCS, Wipro, and local firms recruit the B.Tech and MBA graduate students from the institution.

The average packing salary falls between INR 3-4 LPA with the highest notch at INR 6 LPA. CIEM boasts a little more than this for placement, which is 70%-80%, and a good industry exercise to attract clients such as Infosys and Cognizant, with averages of INR 4-5 LPA and tops
