In previous years, IISER Kolkata's closing ranks for the General category have ranged from 641 to 1801, depending on the specialisation and round of counseling. For the SC category, the closing ranks have varied between 234 and 502. Based on these trends, it is reasonable to anticipate that the cutoff marks for IISER Kolkata in IAT 2024 will be in the range of 150 to 200 for the General category and 100 to 150 for the SC category. Please note that these are approximate figures, and actual cutoffs may vary.

As of December 18, 2024, the University of Calcutta has not yet announced the admission dates for the Postgraduate (PG) Agriculture programs for the 2025 academic session. In the previous cycle, the university extended the application deadline to September 13, 2024, for M.Sc. and B.Tech. admissions, including those in Agricultural Sciences.

For BA (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) courses, minimum 50% marks is required for admissions while for BA and B.Sc courses minimum 40% marks are required. For Asutosh College BBA admissions, minimum 60% marks are required in Class 10+2 level.

Admission to the B.A. (Hons.) course is based on the merit in the last qualifying exam.

The B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology course at Asutosh College is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree course. The total cost for the course is INR 28,530.

Brainware University Kolkata has not released the accurate start date for the BCA new session. According to the past year trends, class will begin from the first week of August. However, this is subject to change.
