There are many other institutions/Universities providing much more experienced faculty members along with good placements, good campus life and having decent infrastructures at low cost  in kolkata . But still Neotia University has a very good placement record in CSE of B.Tech program  despite being a private university . Neotia University is ranked 152nd in all over India .

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts a national-level common entrance test for admission to BSc, BTech, UG Diploma, MTech, MBA, PhD courses offered at IMU campuses. IMU CET 2024 application forms will be out in April 2024 and the exam will be held in June 2024, tentatively.

Bachelor's Degree of at least three years in any discipline from any recognised University. In case of applying for IMU CET MBA 2024, applicants must have a minimum of a 50 percent aggregate in their Bachelor's degree. Final year candidates can also apply for the IMU CET MBA 2024 entrance examination.
