Kolkata has about 2 top ranked Commerce colleges in Kolkata and both are privately owned. Admission to these colleges will be based on merit. JD Birla Institute, and Bhairab Ganguly College are the top institutes. As per India Today ranking 2026, JD Birla Institute is the top Commerce college in Kolkata.

Jadavpur University Kolkata is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Jadavpur University is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

IBMR Kolkata BBA total fee is INR 4 lakh for four-year duration. Students have to pay some part of the total fees after selection to confirm seats. The mentioned fee amount is as per official sources. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

IBMR Kolkata may not have any reserved seats in its BBA course. Students are admitted based on MAKAUT CET scores. The college may follow guidelines of MAKAUT. It is advised to contact the admission office for queries related to the seat reservation.
