Internship and placement opportunities are very good in Amity. Infosys, TCS, Uber, etc., visit the campus. There are a lot of good campuses in Kolkata for your management studies. Amity (6 Lacs initial fees), NMIMS (more than 7 Lacs), etc., are very good for MBA admissions in Kolkata region. These campuses have good academic standards. These campuses have very affordable fee structure and the student and alumni network is also large. So, I suggest that you take up any of the above. IIM-Kolkata is the best option if you are ready to crack CAT. No other college is better than IIMs for management education.

Top 2 institutes you must target are Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management and NSHM Knowledge Campus. A score of around 500-600 is good to get into these institutes. Other institutes accepting MAT scores are Bengal Institute of Business Studies, Globsyn Business School, Calcutta Business School, Institute of Engineering and Management, Unitedworld School of Business, Eminent College of Management and Technology, Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Institute of Management Study and Amity University.

Hello,
Unfortunately, there are no good B-Schools (those ranking under the top 50 in India) in Kolkata which accept the scores of MAT exam and the ones which are there are not really worthy enough for pursuing MBA. Hence, I suggest you to either look for a different exam like CAT IIFT XAT, etc.)., or a different city (Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi). Nevertheless, you can check the list of the B-Schools which accept MAT score by visiting the given link.

IMI, Kolkata good placement record ever since it's inception. It has been ranked as one of the top management institutes of the eastern region. Moreover, the faculty here is excellent. Visiting faculty members from across globe come to campus to deliver lectures. Some the highly specialized courses like cloud computing and digital marketing are also offered to students. What marks it off from other management institutes is the infrastructure that it has which adds to the wholesome learning experience of management graduates. The institute has excellent international collaboration with some of the top universities across globe. Student

Hi Amit,
MBA is a big decision that you are taking and it is difficult if you think it's difficult. You will enjoy your 2 years in BIBS so much that semesters will be just a part of MBA. You can study and pass if you were present in the classroom. That's how they teach you in the class so that you can learn it in practical life. Exams don't seem tough after that. Moreover, it will be a fun learning experience for you.
