However, as per the NIRG report 2024, the median package offered during Kumaun University UG three-year placements 2023 stood at INR 1.2 LPA. According to the comparison of placement statistics of the years 2022 and 2023, it can be seen that the median package was improved. Therefore it can be expected that in this year too the median package will improve.

Kuman University is a state-public university that does not offer direct admissions to BA courses; candidates are required to qualify for the merit list, which the university releases on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their higher senior secondary. However, there are chances that some of the university-affiliated colleges offer direct/ management admissions to BA courses.
