UPES law school offers admission in BA LLB programme on entrance basis. The accepted exams are ULSAT /CUET/ CLAT. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply.

The selection criteria of LLB programme at UPES Law School is merit-based. The scores of last qualifying exams are evaluated for admission. After the merit-based selection, personal interviews are conducted.

Candidates can access the CLAT 2027 syllabus on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium has not released the CLAT Notification yet. Once it is published, the syllabus will also be announced.

Candidates must note that the math questions in the CLAT exam are mostly from Class 10th mathematics. The section will have 10-14 questions. Candidates must cover topics like percentages, ratios, averages, profit/loss, and basic algebra.

CLAT is not directly based on the NCERT curriculum, but NCERT books act as a strong foundational resource for Quantitative Techniques and basic static GK. Candidates appearing for board exams can prepare for CLAT side by side.
