Absolutely! IIULER offers scholarships based on the merit of the exam you took. If you sit for the IIULET (the university's own entrance test) and score 95% or above, you can get a 60% discount on your tuition fees. At a score between 85-94%, you will get a 50% discount. This provides a fantastic "second chance" to secure a scholarship based on your performance in the university's specific selection process rather than just the national CLAT.

Private schools like Jindal Global Law School are excellent but often come with much higher tuition fees. IIULER provides a similar global standard of education and international exposure but at a relatively more accessible fee structure because of its semi-government backing. While Jindal has a larger student body, IIULER offers a more tight-knit community and a direct connection to the regulatory body of the legal profession in India.

While NLUs are the traditional gold standard, IIULER offers a unique advantage because it is directly managed by the Bar Council of India Trust. While NLUs focus heavily on domestic law, IIULER's curriculum is more internationally oriented. The infrastructure in Goa is brand new and state-of-the-art. Many students choose IIULER over mid-tier NLUs because of its specialised focus on modern legal tech and its global faculty network.

IIULER offers 132 (120 + 12 for EWS) seats for the BA LLB (Hons.) program, including category reservations. The university keeps the batch sizes relatively small on purpose. This ensures a low teacher-student ratio, allowing faculty members to provide personalised attention to every student.

Apart from the standard Bar Council subjects, the IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) curriculum includes Fintech Law, Data Privacy, and Artificial Intelligence Law. Students also get to study International Arbitration and even a foreign language like French. This mix ensures that when you graduate, you aren't just a traditional lawyer, but a professional ready for the global corporate market.

Starting early in the course, IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) students are encouraged to participate in Moot Courts, which are mock trials that simulate real courtroom environments. They will learn how to research cases, draft legal documents (pleadings), and argue before a "judge." This hands-on training helps build the confidence and public speaking skills you'll need to succeed in real courts.

IIULER BA LLB (Hons.) is a 10-semester program. The first few years of the course focus on building a strong foundation in humanities, like Political Science and Sociology, alongside basic laws like Contracts and Torts. From the third semester, the focus shifts to Indian Legal System and the course becomes more specialised, covering Criminal Law, Corporate Law, and International Law. Each semester is designed to balance theoretical reading with practical research assignments and classroom debates.

IIULER follows a tiered fee system on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in xam. If you secure a top rank between 1 and 5,000, your annual fee is discounted to INR 4,28,122. With the increase in ranks, the fee also goes up! For example, ranks between 10,001 and 15,000 pay INR 4,76,750, while those ranked 20,001 to 30,000 pay INR 5,62,000. For ranks 30,001 and above, the fee is INR 8,01,000. This structure makes a premium, international-standard legal education more affordable for students with high academic merit.
