In India, admission to a Biomedical Sciences course (B.Sc. in Biomedical science) typically requires an entrance examination though it is not necessarily required in all universities. Though numerous universities follow merit with Class 12 result, national-level entrance tests such as CUET and NEET and state-level entrance tests are generally acknowledged by different universities. In some universities such as NMIMS, entrance tests are carried out. It is extremely important to make sure that you are aware of particular requirements of your college or university of choice.

Both are good, but if you're more interested in research, disease or working in labs, BSc Microbiology is a better choice. BSc Life Science is broader and covers many areas like botany, zoology and environmental science. it's good if you want more career options later.

I'm preparing for CUET PG Life Sciences. I found some mock papers online, just searched around and picked a few that looked decent. Also, I tried solving last year's papers to get a feel for the pattern. I didn't buy any paid stuff, just used what's freely available. Honestly, even doing 2-3 mocks helped a lot with timing and confidence. Not perfect prep, but better than going in blind.
