LLM entrance examinations test the academic knowledge of the candidates who have completed their basic legal education. • They must also pay attention to the curriculum as well as the fee structure across top colleges offering the LLM course.
• Candidates must also ensure that the law college is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) as well as the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The standard Admission process for the LLM course across every college is the same, and the candidates desiring to pursue LLM can check the points given below:

• Candidates must select the college where they want to apply for the  LLM course. 
• They must also decide which specialisation to choose as per their academic goals.
• Candidates must have completed LLB or a five-year integrated LLB from a recognised university. They must have also scored 50% on average in their course to be eligible to pursue an LLM.
• For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the minimum marks scored in graduation are 45% in aggregate.
• Candidates must then check the relevant entrance examination, which would secure admission in their desired institution.
• They must duly fill out the application form and submit all the relevant documents, and pay the application fee as per their category. 
• They must score a decent rank for securing a position in the merit list and be offered admission in their desired college.
