There were ten events in the last years “annual cultural festival” of xyz international College. Following guidelines have been issued to schedule the “annual cultural festival”:

I. A college board has organized the ten events Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, Z8, Z9, Z10 on six days of week with holiday on Sunday; not having more than two events on any of the days.

II. Event begins on Wednesday with event Z6.

III. Z4 is accompanied by some other event but not on Thursday. Z1 and Z7 are on the same day immediately after the holiday.

Ten students – S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S9 and S10 are chosen to represent their college in four dance form – Kathak, Bhangra, Bharatanatyam and Break dance. The Bhangra group has one student less than the Kathak group. S1, S2 and S3 are not Kathak dancers, individually or as a group. S4, S5 and S6 are not in Bhangra group, individually or as a group. S7, S8 and S9 are not in the Bharatanatyam, individually or as a group. S10 is Bharatanatyam dancer. None of the students is a Break dancer.

If S7, S8 and S3 are the only students in the Bhangra group, which three must be the only students who are Bharatanatyam dancers?

Since, Kathak has one more dancer than Bhangra, there are 4 dancer in Kathak S4, S5, S6 and S9. Remaining dancers are in Bharatnatyam. So, option (a) is correct

If the Bharatnatyam team has just one member S10, then the Kathak team will surely have S4, S5 and S6 as dancers.
