LSBU is quite selective in its review process, and has an acceptance rate about 17% only. Which means out of 100 only 17 students will get a chance of getting into this university. It is a competitive university due to the large number of applicants every year. Only the most qualified candidates are selected. Besides a good academic record, students must have high scores in English language proficiency tests, and a competitive GPA.

The London South Bank University has set standard eligibility requirements for international students based on their performance and academic excellence. Indian students require a minimum of 55-65% in Standard XII for admission to this university. Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of admission.
