The institute accepts the CAT and XAT entrance examination results for admission to the MBA course. The XAT 2026 results have already been announced. The cutoff schedule for the MBA course will be published after the CAT 2026 results have been announced.

Apart from CAT cutoff, LIBA admission to full-time offline MBA course is also based on XAT scores. Candidates who meet the XAT 2023 cut off of 70 Percentile are considered by LIBA for the Personal Interaction (PI) round of MBA admission 2024-25 batch. Going as per the last few year trends, candidates are expected to have an overall score of 70 percentile in XAT. Tabulated below is the previous year's XAT percentile for LIBA cutoff for General Category candidates:

LIBA CAT cutoff 2025 was announced for admission to the PGDM course for various All India categories. For the General AI category, the estimated CAT percentile was 80 overall and 50 for the Quants, VA-RC, and DI-LR sections.
Students who attain percentiles above this are eligible to proceed to the next rounds of admissions, which involve WAT, GD and PI.

The Programmes are offered in a week-day format with evening schedules for all specialization areas. Classes are held in the evenings between 6.45 pm and 8.30 pm from Monday to Wednesday. Courses have three different credit options. The four-credit courses have 18 sessions, three-credit have 16 sessions, and two-credit courses have 9 sessions. Each session covers one hour and 45 minutes.
