MS Ramaiah College of Law complies with the admission rules of Karnataka State Law University and Government of Karnataka. The law college reserves seats for the physically challenged students. 3% seats are reserved by the college for physically handicapped students.

MS Ramaiah College of Law complies with the orders of the Department of HRD, Government of India. The college reserves 5% of seats for Kashmiri Migrants in BCom LLB until the last day of the admission. The persons claiming the status of Kashmiri Migrants have to produce the identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of the Government of Karnataka to this effect.
