Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research, under the aegis of Gokula Education Foundation, was established in 1987. The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council of (INC). The undergraduate nursing programme provide the educational foundation to prepare the next generation of nursing professionals. The undergraduate nurses of institute are preferred by the biggest of hospitals in India and are picked up by overseas recruiters as the students possess broad knowledge and efficient clinical skill in rendering patient care. St. Johns College of Nursing is one of the five institutions under the St. Johns National Academy of Health Sciences. It enters into the 30th year of its existence in Nursing Education. Right from its inception in 1989, it endeavors to equip students with competencies necessary for rendering holistic care in all evolving settings. The College is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka State Nursing Council and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS) and Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB). The programmes offered are General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC) & Ph.D. in Nursing (Med. Surg. Nsg. ). So M. S. Ramaiah can be the best option for B.Sc. Nursing.

The courses offered by RCL are B.A. L.L.B (Integrated Course), PG Diploma in Cyber Law & Information Technology and Certificate Course in Human Rights.
The minimum eligibility to apply for B.A. L.L.B. is 10+2 with 45% marks in aggregate.
Candidates applying for admission to Certificate Course in Human Rights must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Applicants to PG Diploma in Cyber Law & Information Technology must have passed Bachelors Degree from a recognized Institute/ University.
Admissions to B.A. L.L.B (Integrated Course), PG Diploma in Cyber Law & Information Technology and Certificate Course in Human Rights are done purely on basis of Merit.
