The institute is approved by the AICTE, NMC, BCI, DCI, PCI and the NBA.The University has been accredited by the NAAC with Grade-A+ recognising its excellence in academics. MSRUAS is ranked 75 under the Engineering category by NIRF 2025. The university has modern infrastrcture which includes classrooms, library, medical facility, labs, seminar halls, hostel, cafeteria, etc.

M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences accepts several entrance exams. Students have the option to appear for the RUAS-AT or provide scores of other accepted exams. A list of entrance exams accepted by the university is as below:

  • COMEDK/ JEE/ KCET for BTech
  • MAT/ CAT/ CUET for MBA
  • GPAT, CUET for MPharm
  • CUET- UG for UG courses.
  • NEET for Medical and Allied Health Sciences courses
  • NID Entrance Exam, NIFT, CEED for Design courses

Note: The university accepts RUAS-AT for all of its UG and PG courses.
