Yes, it is possible to have two M.Tech. /M. S. degrees in Engineering in India from two different universities. Currently, I have not found specific rules related to a student obtaining more than one master’s degree in a particular subject or in different specialties. However, there are some factors to consider:
- The structure of a second Master’s programme in a specific field may also vary from University to University and the admission requirements for candidates with previous Master’s degrees.

Whether doing an MTech in CSE is worthwhile is a relative question depending on the options the candidates have.
On a positive side, M.Tech provides subject specialisation and that will give exposure to better employment opportunities and remunerative pay packages mostly when they go for higher or research level positions.
Also, the achievement of that degree makes it possible to plan for a PhD afterward. But there are demerits such as time and money consumption, certain employer's bias towards work experience, and the understanding that not all IT jobs entail MTech. The average package offered across top IITs to M.Tech students ranges between INR 8-15 LPA with the highest package of INR 22 LPA. The salary depends on the institute, location of the organisation, experience of the candidates and skills acquired during work and course.

After completing MTech, a candidate can easily find a job in research and development companies, manufacturing firms, and IT companies as Project Manager, Research Associate, and Senior Engineers. Some of the candidates also prefer academic jobs such as teaching in a college or becoming a professor. Candidates can also work as Lead Scientist, Lead Engineer and also work as consultants in popular organisations.

Eligibility for M.Tech courses differs from institute to institute but still I can answer some common conditions that most of the universities require
Minimum Marks- You need to score minimum 55 to 60 percent or 6 GGPA in your Bachelors.
Entrance Exam- Most common entrance exam for M.Tech course is GATE for government colleges but it's score is also considered by some of the private colleges. While some colleges conduct their own tests also.
Furthermore, if you are looking to pursue M.Tech in any particular specialization, you need to score as per the university requirement for that specialization.

Yes, M.Tech course is available at KKR and KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS Guntur). KITS Guntur offers a two-year M.Tech course at the PG level. To be eligible for the award of the degree, candidates shall complete the course in a maximum period of two years from the date of enrolment for the first semester of the course. Candidates must pass BTech degree to apply for the M.Tech course.

For admission to M.Tech course at KKR and KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS Guntur), students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET and candidates must pass BTech degree. Candidates who have not completed BTech are not eligible for admission.
