To study the M Tech in Mechanical Engineering course, you must have at least 55% marks in BTech Mechanical Engineering or a related field and clear relevant entrance tests like GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, CEETA PG, etc. to grab a seat at a decent college in India.
The eligibility requirements usually differ on the basis of the college where you're planning to pursue the course. The MTech Mechanical Engineering course has a general time span of 2 years. The coursework is spread out into 4 semesters of six months each that includes theory classes and practical learning via laboratory work and projects. For MTech admission at Abhilashi University, candidates must have BTech degree with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in the respective branch of engineering.
