The PES University CSE average package or other placement details are yet to be released. However, the combined placement data for BTech and MTech courses are released in the NIRF report 2023. The key highlights of PES University placements 2022 for BTech and MTech are mentioned below:

The University has maintained a good placement record in recent years. The placement rate for BTech was the same in 2021 and 2022, however, it dropped by 4% in 2023. On the other hand, the year-on-year improving trend was recorded in the percentage of MTech students placed. The PES University MBA placement rate improved from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 it was the same. See the table below showcasing the PES University placement trends for UG and PG courses:

The PES University average package is not out yet. However, the median package offered to Engineering and Management students has been discosed. The table below mentions the course-wise median package for PES University placements over the past three years (2020 to 2021):

The overall highest package offered during PES University placements 2025 stood at INR 68 LPA. Earlier, the overall highest salary secured by the batch 2024 was INR 65 LPA.

VNIT MTech placements 2026 is ongoing. In 2025, 100% placement was recorded in MTech Heat Power & Engineering, Construction Technology & Management and Process Metallurgy branches. The best average package of INR 12.97 LPA was received by MTech CSE students in 2025.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been a decreasing one in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 90,378. In 2022, it decreased to 85 744. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 90,378 to 81,426 for OBC, 19,0098 to 2,24,720 for SC, 6,62,196 to 3,90,021 for ST, 10,2,979 to 1,01,883 for EWS categories.
