Candidates must have completed a BSc in a relevant discipline, such as Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry, from a recognized university or institute. They must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

First you have to get minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST) marks in BSc or qualifying degree.
And atleast 50% marks in exam to qualify it.
