The placements this year crossed the previous benchmark and witnessed increase in the highest package and no of companies. Within 4 years, they have got excellent placements while other such new b-schools are struggling hard for it.

The current batch placements is genuinely 100% and the stats are even true. They could have exaggerated it, but it wasn't necessary.
Yes, it is worth to choose this over IMIK and Welingkar both in terms of RoI and Brand Value.

MDI family have a legacy of selecting candidates based on their profile and CAT Score, though more weightage is given to CAT but Academic Performance and Work Experience play an important role in it. To have a safe bet this year 80+ will suffice the need.

There are no restrictions. If you have a good caliber, you will land up with a good job. MDIM is better than the newer IIM's as far as placements (ROI) and campus life are concerned.

Just be aware of what you wrote on your CV and follow the current affairs. 90% of the present batch is above 83 percentile. So, you have to do pretty well in the GDPI to make the cut

The average is at 8.5 lacs at present with ICICI being the major recruiter offering 9.05 in marketing and finance roles. NIA-Agro offers 11.5 lacs in a Finance role and HomeCredit is offering 12 lacs PA in the marketing role. The placements are still going on and only 1 of the students have to be placed to achieve the 100% placed record since inception.
