Mangalayatan University’s MBA programme is a two-year postgraduate programme that allows students to specialize in any two of the four streams of business studies, namely Finance, Marketing, HRD, and International Business. The programme is designed to develop insights into the operations of a business entity, to understand the functions and mechanisms through which a business organisation works, and most importantly, the manner in which decisions are arrived at different levels of the organisation so that they are in sync with the overall poise of the organization.

The MBA faculty is highly experienced, continuously trained and upgraded, and motivated to deliver the best learning experience to the students. The faculty follows the culture of working with the students to ensure that they are able to meet their objectives of professional learning. The MBA department provides vigorous finishing-school training to the students, to orient them to the corporate selection process and to make them confident in facing the competition. 

The MBA programme of MUJ imbibes the philosophy of both learning by knowing and learning by doing. Student learning is augmented through a judicious mix of class-room lectures, assignments, case studies, field projects, individual and team assignments / presentations etc. The university has a placement cell that helps students with their career advancement .
