- The college provides a four-and-a-half-years MBBS degree programme in all the preclinical subjects and selected clinical subjects.
- On sucessfully completing the MBBS course the students will undergo a 1 year compulsory residential rotating internship. The medium of instruction is english.

No, it is not that hard to get admission at Manipal College of Medical Science. The english proficiency score required is of IELTS and that too is not mandatory. The requirements of 12th grade are 50% marks. The detailed requirements can be listed down as following.
- Must have qualified 10+2, or equivalent qualifications, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) securing a minimum of 50% in each PCB subject (which, in general, equals to minimum ‘C’ grades for Sri Lankan A-Level and ‘D’ grades for International A Levels e.g. EDEXCEL/Cambridge) and also 50% in aggregate.
