Yes, you can easily get aeronautical branch with that score. Placements in aeronautical is quite average. However, the facilities and the exposure for the branch in MIT is great. We have student's club called aero MIT, which gives one hands on experience on aeronautical engineering.

I might sound harsh, but I will be honest. Recently most companies are going for core companies. However, it might be in all the colleges, but now most of the companies ask for mechanical engineers instead of automobile engineers. Even core automobile companies like Maruti Suzuki prefer mechanical engineers. So, I would suggest, that if you are too much into automobile, take mechanical engineering and later take up automobile engineering for your Masters.
