VIPS is more reputed for B.J. M. C. than Maharaja Agrasen. Plus, I am studying in VIPS so I know how well the college is. The placements through the years have been really good and the exposure that the students are given in the college time is fantastic.

Hi Sanga,
The film-making courses are generally offered by the institutes on the postgraduate level. There is no gender restriction for the course to be pursued but you need to complete your graduation first.

Hi Aditya,
In order to take admission in Institute of Mass Communication Film and Television Studies, you can directly apply to the college. There is no complicated admission procedure. There might be an interview though, to check your aptitude and suitability for the course.

You can set a proper learning plan for the test. Equal importance must be given to all subjects. Revision should be done frequently for attaining a better result. It is advisable to go for mock tests regularly. This will help one to find out the mistakes. It is good to go through the last year question papers. Model question papers of the preceding years can be got from all leading bookstores. Sometimes, guidebooks one buy will contain a few question papers. Many colleges offer this but infrastructure-wise, I recommend you Doon Business School, Dehradun. DBS has their own media production centres and as Dehradun is a film-shooting destination, students get a chance very frequently to work on projects. Best of luck.
