To get a PG Diploma in Urdu Media from JMI, candidates must have at least 55% marks in Urdu, Persian or Arabic in the final exams of their class 12.

Jamia Millia Islamia's mass communication courses are taught at AJK MCRC or AJK Mass Communication Research Centre. To apply for these courses, aspirants must take the JMI Entrance Exam. The application fee for this exam is INR 700. It's a three hour long test where applicants are supposed to attempt 20 objective and 180 subjective questions. This is followed by an interview round. Candidates also have to showcase their portfolios. It must be noted that only postgraduate mass communication courses are offered at AJK MCRC.

The first year of the UG course is divided into two semesters. There is a proper syllabus in place for each course semester with theory and practical subjects. A credit and marks are also attached with each subjects. Mentioned below are some of the subjects taught in the first year of SGT University BSc Radio Imaging Technology course:

  • Human Anatomy - I
  • Human Physiology - I
  • General Microbiology and Pathology
  • Fundamentals of Computer Science
  • General Radiography Positioning and Terminology, etc.

1st installment - INR 1,73,000 + INR 20,000 = INR 1,93,000 which needs to be depostited at the time of Provisional Admission

2nd installment - INR 1,73,000 which needs to be depostited by 25th November, 2024.
