Yes, AAFT is a good college for the direction specialization. AAFT offers Diploma in Movie Direction, B.Sc. in Cinema, and M.Sc. in Cinema courses for those interested in movie direction. Under the Direction Specialization, students will learn about short film-making, feature film-making, documentary-making, Ad film-making, and music production for films.

There are no particular qualifications required to become an actor but its much better if you get a formal training from a good institute. To get a proper training of acting in India AAFT is the place you can go for as its offers graduation and post graduation courses in acting. So if you are just 12 th pass or are graduated in any stream you can chose BA in Acting or MA in acting as per your convenience.
