Candidates have to prepare questions related to following topics for JMI interview round for admission to mass communication and media courses through entrance exam.

  • Contemporary political, social, cultural and economic issues

  • Contemporary media

  • Fictional and non-fictional films

  • General knowledge and the subjects studied at the graduation level
  • Visualisation skills and creative aptitude
  • Overall personality (confidence, way of speaking and presenting an answer, etc.)

These are important topics. An interviewer can ask questions from any other topic relevant for respective course.

Hello Ashish,
Questions are not so hard but they are usually asked in a twisted manner.You need to understand them and try to answer with loyalty. They generally ask how you will publish something, strategies you will use. Through questions they will try to find out your interest or how much you are capable. Generally, they try to check your communication skill. What I have said is not specific. It depends on the interviewer with what mindset he's there.
