The highest package offered at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC) is INR 5 LPA to INR 8 LPA. The average package is INR 1.50 LPA. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions in JMI entrance exam. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating JMI score. So, if candidates are not sure about the answer of a question, it is better not to answer instead of guessing, to avoid negative marking. Although candidates should attempt all questions in descriptive part and refrain from leaving questions.

According to JMI Entrance Exam pattern, an MCQ question for which more than one response is marked on OMR sheet will be considered incorrect. So, candidates should solve the questions separately on space given for rough work, and then mark the answer on OMR sheet to avoid such errors.
