It won't be possible to get into Ph.D. without scoring 55%, and some more points are also need to cover:
Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication
55% marks in aggregate at postgraduate level
M.Phil. From any recognised university or institute of higher learning. Masters degree with 55% in aggregate in any subject 5-year experience in media Industry/Teaching/Research in Mass Communication.

Hello Vinay,
There is no major difference in B.J. M. C. and B.J. Even I would say they both are same. It is all about journalism and mass communication. You can go ahead in this and yes, there is CET (Common Entrance test) for admission in this course.

It is good one and you can apply here for admission. And they provide you placements too but your efforts are much required, without that, it will not be possible to get into something especially when it comes to journalism. There is a big competition going on nowadays and you need to be more active, energetic and minded with each and everything happening around.

Pursue B.J. M. C. then you should go for IPU, but entrance test will be there surely, and are very less chances to get rid of it. It is not tough though, and you can try in DU but in DU you have to apply for specific college, Jamia Milia, JNU, Makhan Lal are also good options to pursue Journalism.
