Hi dear,
Not only after the completion of BJMC, even as per the university syllabus for mass communication, a student has to do internship in first year and second year for 30 to 45 days. So, all the media industries offer internship to the students of all the colleges which are affiliated to GGSIPU. Even in JIMS, Vasant Kunj, students get internships.

Research is indeed the best hallmark of a good place to learn Mass Media/Communication. Even for other subject's, the quality indeed gets manifested if the university offers quality research. Let me tell you one thing observed during education related counselling, Ph.D. from Government Universities or Central Universities still remain a quality thing because you get guides who are quite qualified on the academic part. Hi Garima, it does seem important, because BJMC sometimes is not able to impress the employers or even not able to make you capable of competing the Media Domain rise. There are numerous jobs and profiles, but you shall need a Master's Degree to put an impressive and strong claim on a good job. I shall suggest that you must do a Master Degree to give proper shape to your specialization of Mass Communication.

Mass Media has a number of courses and domains to specialize. But, you need to focus in Film Making or Production-Direction areas when you do your degrees and trainings. Please see that a normal Bachelor degree won't be able to give you everything of Direction skills. Yes, of this is done from the prime places like FTII or even NSD you get to know what real work is. Do a Bachelor's degree in. Mass Media from a professionally reputed place or a Master degree will surely be needed to master the nuances of Direction through M.Sc. Electronic media or Film Production.
